Here are my temps on the new dual boot SSD /HDD test mule - daily use PC .

ofc. 2160p Sony TV display shows up as 1080p , on the Intel IGPU because it cant do 4K but up scaled 1080p looks fine I can get 4K (what they have ) IPTV in the embedded Android TV OS and media HDD without a PC .

The 84 watt max. Haswell Core i5 CPU here in the new PC runs much cooler and cooler touching the CPU cooler doing same thing as the AMD 95 watt Phenom II x6 1055 did in the old test mule .

All that is maybe a good thing considering the old HP test mule fried some MB capacitors *right next to the CPU c after 6 yrs of abuse so no complaint at that age and how much it got used .

I wanted a new Core i5 box for the daily use PC /test mule anyway .

Old PC will be easy to fix with another main board or some capacitors from Digi-Key or Mouser I will try first and somebody will get an older not bad at all PC with a newer 1TB HD ,Windows 10 and 8 GB ram and maybe the modest HD 6450 d/GPU if I don't put it in here which I think may be pointless beyond 1GB of dedicated video ram whereas it was a legitimate upgrade in the old PC from the abysmal nvidia chip :) .

    Nice CPU temp there.
However regarding some of the results Speccy gives I wouldn't give them too much credence. I've given up on Speccy and much prefer Core Temp, HWINFO, CPU-Z and GPU-z.

If you use Core Temp it's best to use the portable version. The installation version always used to include Open Candy, don't know if it still does or not.

FWIW this is my HWINFO 64 screenshot within one or two minutes of the Speccy result in my prior posting with an insignificant variance YMMV .

Of course this is only one comparison and not intended to be statistically valid under controlled conditions. :)

I like core temp temp but I just now tried the newest x64 portable Core temp and like the regular core temp it wont work in this new PC on 14905 or on 14393 on the other drive in here and had the same result with the regular core temp on my suddenly dead old PC .
