    My PC updates

Hi guys, been a long time since I posted properly but wanted to fill you in on what happened with my PC.

I had to sell my GTX 980 last year as I needed the money for more important things. I downgraded to a GTX 960 so I could still game etc. Then in January this year my nice 2560x1440p monitor died. I was forced to use a terrible 15 year old 17" monitor for a while then my Corsair PSU died too! I had to do without the PC for another month due to financial reasons and then last week I managed to order a new 27" Monitor and EVGA PSU but just 2 days later my X79 motherboard died!!

I was running a i7 4930K on it and X79 motherboards are pretty much impossible to get for that CPU now not that I had the cash to get one anyway so I decided to sell the CPU and use the money to get a lower spec CPU and Motherboard. Thankfully it sold quick and I just got an i5 Skylake and B150M motherboard today and am finally back up and running properly. It's not going to break any benchmark records but I am just happy to be back online on my PC. Have updated my system specs accordingly.

Hope you are all doing good? Essenbe, Dude, A-guy, AddRam, Solar, Computiac, Linnemeyerhere, Layback Bear, ICIT2LOL, Thrashzone, John and Brink and anyone else I forgot sorry it's been a while!

    Paul.

I'm glad to see you back, my friend. That's a terrible run of luck with your computer. But, at least you are back up and running. I'll be happy to see you back more often.
