179W what a pig! You know you can remove unwanted entries to be monitored in HWiNFO?

137 Amps just on the CPU, I do not understand that. That is probably more Amps than your PSU's 12v rail has...

Mike I don't think he realized that amps is computed using the 1.312 delivered from the VRMs as he mentioned the 12V rails

Well, it's good to know those things as they apply to everything electrical, from a simple light bulb to space station.

Extreme overclockers even go as high as 300+ watts.
From Buildzoid for the Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Xtreme at
    400KHz switching freq. @ 1.3V output
Amps/watts of heat(not to be confused with watts of power drawn), and how many VRMs will turn on/be used

AMD FX 9590 was using over 250W at load even at normal use without any OC. That made for enormous TDP. Only 2 motherboards could take it.

And a damn good XOC chip(AMD has all the top slots when it comes to extreme overclocking) it is Mike: CtrlFix`s CPU Frequency score: 8343.92 mhz with a FX-9590
