Well done Tommy. I am loving the new build but still have one problem. The PSU was missing the SATA power cables, so I dont have access to my other two drives. Office is on my data drive, so I can update the leaderboards right now. EVGA is sending me a cable

    Nice validations guys

This weekend, I want to see what I can get on my 6700K with only one core, and hyperthreading turned off.
I just need to watch the heat, because then Skylakes(Kaby's too) will automatically throttle, and it'd be just a waste of time.
I'll definitely need to turn most of my startup programs off, as I'll only need CPU-Z and my ´nice CPU Sensor meter I made with AIDA64:
(Note: the gauge with 100, is 100% CPU usage)

Cliff, I switched to using AI Suite for monitoring. AIDA isnt reading some of my sensors with the new chipset

On my Asus board, Cliff there is a setting to turn off throttling, with a setting it to 255.50 Screen shot below.

I have "Intel Adaptive Thermal Monitor" I can turn off on my MSI board, but I want it on, as I only use a Fan heatsink, and I want the protection

I was just saying, I want to see how high I can go, before it either will not boot, or starts to throttle, making the settings worthless, or locks the desktop up so I need to do a hard restart(which is the worst PITA of the three for me).:)

Heck Cliff, I've had to do a hard reset 7 or 8 times in the last few days playing with my bios settings. All I do is turn this puter off, turn back on, go into my bios, change the setting that locked windows, save and exit.
then i'm back on Windoze. :)
