I love these threads and this forum so much. I can look forward to my next build knowing if I have any questions, I will find them here when tweaking and OC'n. You guys have such awesome systems.
Thanks @Access Denied, I read your post as I was sitting here wondering if I should build another rig.

You're very welcome @essenbe. Stumbled across these boards when searching for a registry file to enable disable Windows Defender, I think it was. Found a wonderful place to hang out!

You have a pretty decent rig yourself. There's nothing wrong with what you have.

I have my CPU OC'd from 3.6 to 3.903 and my RAM from 800 to 1066. It runs really good to be honest, but my SSD is down to 80% life, no errors thank goodness. Mostly just need to get a new Samsung 860 to replace that for now. Money so tight it will be a while so I am making backups on the regular.

    Thank you btw.

Your actual RAM frequency was 1600 and now 2133MHz because it's DDR3 (Double Data Rate, read and write within same cycle)

Yes, same thing in CPU-Z and most other programs like that, leftover from before DDR/SDRAM when it took separate cycles to read and write data.

Awesome to learn and know now. All this time I thought my RAM was running at 1066

    Thank you kindly! :)

EDIT: Should have seen me trying to get that RAM up to 1600 when OC'n the CPU back when I built it LOL

I got this. I was just gonna settle at 5.2 but then I wanted to move up another place on the leaderboard. I have not done any tweaks yet so I will need to if I want to increase the speed any further. I won't be taking the voltage any higher than this, that is 100% certain. Couldn't manage 5.3 with current settings. Not too bad though.
