It seems that VMware has a better connection to system BIOS/hardware than Hyper-V.
The question is then: Is that good?
Hyper-V leaves your hardware a bit more Isolated, hence better protected then, against certain types of malware attacks I guess.
But then again, VMWare has better hardware monitoring it seems.
A two-sided sword.
