Mike, when is your 'new' CPU arriving?
    Hi,
Not a new but the same delidded
Guy said he's shipping it out tomorrow morning so I should get it back Wednesday sometime.
I changed the thermal paste possibly it wasn't on very well the first time
Of course I have been messing with bios settings too to get the temps down.
But 4745.55 @94c is a lot better from the last clock I posted @100c :)

WOW, what a difference Mike. That's fantastic reduction in temps and it seems the voltage is lower too. Congratulations.

    Hi,
Thanks I used adaptive mode with a +1.250 limiting to 1.240v I suppose most of that is showing on cpuid screen shot :)
These bios are pretty wild but I've been messing around trying other stuff than auto.....
Of course turbo 3.0 is exited it is pure crapware I swear
I don't believe the numbers I stated on adaptive mode is correct :)
I'll have to look at that again

I thought originally Turbo 3.0 is only for one core that can go higher than the rest it actually benefits some people but for the most part it's rubish because the overclock makes it pointless

    Hi,
No you can use it on all cores not but yes pointless in oc environments it just makes things more complicated unless default or meager oc'ing
Basically it throws too much voltage and causes throttling.
