How do I overclock

Yup, I am suprised. I was just hoping my temps would be low enough so I could try for 5GHz, but I don't think that's possible. From reading online about the FX-6300, it seems most people out there can't get it up to 5GHz either. so, now I have it running comfortably at 4.1GHz.

Well, while chatting with a fellow over at overclockers.com, he informed me that the VRM on the MSI 970A-G43 (my mobo) has a tendency to blow up when pushed to hard.

So, I think I'm gonna take a break from overclocking.

It's so tempting to try pushing it juuuust a little more.

Get a chipset cooler and better CPU cooling first. Learn the max voltage for your CPU, and stay way below it.

I was wondering if it was possible to give to much voltage.

You bet it is possible!

You can handle any voltage you need Chuck, you just need to add the right Flux Capacitor.
