How do I overclock

I do have one quick question, how do you know what to change the voltage to when altering the multiplier?

Go a little higher each time and test for stability. When it is not stable, increase the voltage and try again. If you are going to overclock, expect to have BSODs, it is going to happen, but you usually know exactly what the problem is.

I just though about it, and we should have started another thread. Doug will fuss at us for doing this here.. But, that's OK, blame it on me.

No problem.

I'll just say this really quickly and then stop spamming this thread. I increased my multiplier to 19 (Figured there was no reason to go to high) and was able to get my frequency up to 3.8 GHz (Actually, 3,799.79MHz, but close enough. )

EDIT: I put it up to 20.5 and was able to get it up to 4 GHz. Then put it up to 22.5 and got a BSOD, so I lowered it to 21.5 and I got another BSOD. So now I have it set to 20 and and it seems to be running comfortably at 3.9 GHz (3999.78 MHz)

Okay, back to the original subject. This is the best I've been able to get so far. :)

It's not overclocking @Dude, he managed to get it to run stock speeds. 3.5-4.1

@Dude, can you help him? I haven't owned an AMD CPU in quite a few years.

@essenbe I wish I could, I know nothing about AMD.
