New Build Log: The Saga Begins

Technically, the saga began in May when I purchased the first part. Now that most of the parts are here, and the rest are scheduled to be delivered Wednesday, I'll go ahead and start this thread.

Firstly, I had to personalize the case a little. I didn't want to adulterate it, since it is the Fractal Design Define R5, but I thought this little accenting would go well.

Next step: blue LEDs inside the now-white bezel so the vents glow. Hopefully it'll turn out well. Stay tuned!

Just found out that B&H held up my RAM order and weren't even going to ship it for another couple weeks. So I canceled and put in an overnight order on Newegg for a 4x4GB kit of Kingston FURY HyperX DDR4-2400. Should be here tomorrow, so hopefully I should be running system testing Thursday.

While I figure out a solution for a video (because I got too excited and built before I thought to set up cameras), I'll give you a few poorly-done pictures to look at. Here is the first one.
