Need to upgrade an older computer

We have a Dell Inspiron 3252 computer that has hardly ever been used. I plan to replace the HHD with a SSD and would like to upgrade the memory. It has a Kingston 4GB single channel DDR3L 1600MHz. My question is what would be the best ram to plug into the existing socket.

    Go to crucial RAM website.

There are no more ram sockets, so it looks like the DDR3 8GB ram might be my only option.

    Found this:

    https://www.kingstonmemoryshop.co.uk...n-3252-desktop

And the spec on the PC says it can go to 8 GB. The PC only has one memory slot, but everything I can find suggests that its maximum memory is 8 GB. Therefore, you would need one 8 GB memory module to max out the memory. The Kingston above should work, or you can cross with a Crucial, Corsair, or GSkill memory. I have also had really good luck with Mushkin memory, if you can find it.

    Hope that helps

Interesting, it's not available in the United States. I found this on Amazon, but don't know if it's compatible:

    That should be compatible.
