    Noctua NF A14 very noisy


    I have purchased a Noctua NF A14 chasis cooling fan of ebay it seems genuine
    but its very noisy.i mean noisy like the fridge. I do have another fan in the back is not noisy. i been told to lowr the speed in the bios. i did
    but it remain noisy. any idea what i should do?
    ther fan is connected to the motherboard asus tuf gaming x570 plus

    It may be genuine, but may also have been "used".
    If so... the bearings my be bad.

    It should also have come with a LNA (low noise adapter) cable, which lowers the fan speed from 1900 rpm to 1200 rpm.

    Yes i think the bearing gone usually notua fan are quiet i returned and i got the refund
