    True that. And that's exactly why I went HEDT. An abundance of PCIe lanes.
    It's looking like the ASUS ROG Maximus Extreme is going to be the only option. Darn it :)
    It's maximum DDR5 support is 7200 MT/s

    Intel's new HEDT platform is extremely disappointing. And extremely expensive.
    There is no "one board to rule them all" (excuse the LOTR reference).

    You could wait for Q2 14th Gen will be out and you might get what you're looking for

    Actually looks like it will be Q1 2024 before general availability.
    Well, I've waited 4+ years now. Another year won't be the end of the world :)
