How do i get my CPU down in temperatures ?

Minimum 1 fan in the front and one in the back of the case. This is the basis.

This is or was the atx standard for airflow. When the power supplies were at the top of the case (with a small noisy fan) they had holes in their base to draw hot air from the case. This was part of the atx standard.

The difference in the two sizes is this... at the same rpm a bigger fan can move more air than a smaller one.
Or... at the same amount of air flow... the larger fan will be quieter.


Here's all the NZXT case fans (120mm and 140mm). For 120mm fans look for cfm (cubic feet per minute), of about 80 cfm.
For 140mm fans look at fans with about 95 cfm. In either case... try to stay under 30dBa noise level.

So, for the two front fans... I would suggest this...

They'll move a LOT of air, and they'll do it quietly. I think just adding the two front "intake" fans will solve a lot of your problems.
The CPU cooler can only push the air it has available. The two front fans will give it... all the air it needs.

Right now the CPU cooler is probably starved for air.
I know your case has air holes along the bottom, but your vid card is using most of that air.

About Temperatures: Also consider taking action against THE DUST.. Dust is the PCs worst enemy, and it will also generate heat and higher temperatures. Keep the PC elevated, not put it on the floor or under a table.

And please, to not clean the dust inside the case with the POWER ON.......please, don't do that.

How come my Speccy isnt showing the same details at CPU and RAM ?

Yeah i clean my pc inside every 2nd month and outside every 14th day, so it should be clean enough ? and my pc is out in the free it legs under that is around 5 cm high and it have atleast 5 cm of space on every side of it and there is not electricity going into my pc when im cleaning it.

put a watercooler on it. it will be cooler, and a bonus is your pc will be whisper quiet.

i have watercooling and 5 fans. 2 intake in the back, 2 intake in the front, and one giant exhaust on top (200mm). i use this case

Start with 1 fan at the front, you can later add a second one.

No, don't change the cpu, rather change the cpu cooler, yours is not efficient according to the photo. And apply a good thermal paste, which you apply in a very thin layer. You put a small bead of thermal paste on the CPU and spread it with an object or cellophane stretched over a finger. A very thin layer because the cpu cooler that you will buy its base is in contact with the processor, an HDT (Heat Pipe Direct Touch).

You can put 2 fans on the cpu cooler this will improve performance without increasing noise.

With these 3 changes, including new thermal paste and properly applied, you will improve temperature performance.

Watercooler ? From what i hear watercoolers needs more maintenance, repairing and are more expensive but not better than air coolers ? and most people are telling me to change the CPU for free to a new 12700F, get a better CPU cooler and then 2 front intake fans or just change the CPU for free to a new 12700F and get a better CPU cooler ? But thats a pretty special case you have, never seen one like that.

Why not change the CPU ? Its free for me to get a completely new 12700F CPU ?

I havent touched my watercooler in 2 years now, so not sure what maintenance, repairing, etc. Far better than air coolers. Same cooling, no noise of a jet engine air fan.

you need to take the advice given, determine what solution is best for your situation, and implement it.

water or air cooling regardless, you need the correct amount of fans in the correct direction to get proper airflow.

What cpu you exchange to is 100% irrelevant. same answers as above.

i am taking advice from everyone giving me solutions, writing it down and then going with the solution that most people agree to and so far that is either changing the CPU for free to the same CPU, getting a better CPU cooler and/or the same and then just with 2 intake fans.

yeah i will get better cooling even though im changing the CPU, but since some people say my CPU is broken and i can change it for free to a new 12700F i might aswell do that aswell.

i probably forgot to mention that, my bad and thanks for your answers.

thats why i said changing cpu is irrelevant. you need cooling for whatever one you wish to use. you need proper airflow. im not here to convince you water vs air, thats your choice.

I agree with that i more cooling and better airflow, that seems to be the 2 most important things that people are mentioning and changing the CPU since i can get the exact same model completely new and for free.
