Old-ish Thermal Paste Question
years ago, on top of getting an anti-static mat and wrist-strap combo, i bought some arctic mx-4 thermal paste on amazon, this was on October 28, 2017. i stored both the wrist strap and the thermal paste in the bubble-wrap lined shipping pouch/envelope/(whatever the eff its called), and the thermal paste has been sitting there in a drawer for a LONG time. i pulled it out, worked the cap off of it, dab'd a bit of it on some paper, and looking at it.....seems fine, but i defer to tenforums and its users
considering it hasnt seen use in well over 4+ years (last bit of use it had was to replace some of the thermal paste from our GPUs after i took them apart and dusted/cleaned them), would the thermal paste i still have be good to keep using on whatever it can be used on, desktop wise and beyond, or should i consider getting a new tube and tossing the old stuff in the trash?
