Is the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Black Edition compatible with MSI B460 TOMAHAWK motherboard and i5 10400 CPU? as i don't see LGA1200 mentioned on the cooler's page.

    Thank you.

Yeah, but it's only 42 cfm. You should get one around 70-80 cfm.

What exactly is the issue with it being only 42 cfm? I'm not getting anything new just planning on replacing the cooler.

42 cfm (cubic feet per minute) is very low.

Something like this is much better...
Noctua NH-U12S redux 70.75 CFM CPU Cooler (NH-U12S redux) - PCPartPicker

    Or even more powerful...
    Noctua NH-D15S chromax.black 82.51 CFM CPU Cooler (NH-D15S chromax.black) - PCPartPicker

Both of these will fit the socket and the motherboard.

    Like I said... 70-80 cfm

I have the original Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO, and it's 82 cfm.
    And I also have a 65W CPU.

    @VERX

Here's the one I have. Check the specs. I "added" the 2nd fan myself.

    CM Hyper 212 EVO

You can still get the original. It's not black, but oh well.

Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo CPU Cooler, 4 CDC Heatpipes, 120mm PWM Fan, Aluminum Fins for AMD Ryzen/Intel LGA1200/1151 - Newegg.com

Worry first about the cooling, then about what it looks like.

The Noctua coolers are the best air coolers out there. So you'll be happy with one of theirs.

Btw... 1's and 0's don't care what color things are.

My motherboard is pretty cool, but I picked it for the specs, not the looks...
