There are the usual suspects like Amazon and Newegg, not really a need to mention those.
I'm curious to see if there are other/better alternatives I am not aware of currently.

I used to use Directron, but their inventory has become limited. They seem to be focusing on the Business market now.

B & H Photo is better known for selling photo equipment but in recent years has been selling more computer hardware.

I usually buy local when I can. We have a fantastic store in town called Canada Computers and the prices are really good. They are a chain all across Canada much like Microcenter is in the US.

Failing that, I buy from NewEgg. I refuse to buy computer parts from Amazon as the prices are generally 10 to 20% higher than other Canadian retailers. It borders on the ridiculous.

Yes! I've used B&H. They are a great store.

Find them at PCPartpicker, then buy wherever cheapest.

We've got a Microcenter here is Mass but it is in Cambridge - 45 min away and parking is a nightmare! Good store though.

I haven't tried them. I'll check it out. Thanks

EDIT: Yikes! Had them bookmarked already. Forgot about them!

I'm addicted to that site. It's so easy to make builds there, it's not funny.

Craigslist, e-bay. I like to live dangerously.

I've done eBay with good results.
Hadn't considered Craigslist. Is that for new or used parts?
