    Making a new custom PC

Hi, I'm new here. I'm previously from the Win8.1 forums. So, does my custom PC fully supports Windows 10? Here is the specs of my "wanna be" custom PC :

CPU : Intel Core i7-5775C with Intel Iris Pro Graphics 6200
GPU : NVidia GeForce GTX 750 ti
    RAM : 16 GB (8 GB x 2)
    Motherboard : Gigabyte GA-H97-Gaming 3
Storage : 1 TB HDD with 250 GB SSD (Windows will be installed in the SSD)

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks!

Nice system. Should have no issues with window 10. Just check the Gigabyte website for the latest Windows 10 compliant drivers. I would not install them till Windows 10 is upgraded and then selectively use them.

    Nice system setup!
Go check the Nvidia web site. Last time I checked for a Nvidia problem there was reported problem with GTX 750 driver.
    Maybe it is fixed now.

Gigabyte DOES have Win10 drivers for your mobo. You should download them and install any that are newer than what you already have in place.

Yep, the graphics driver should be your main concern, you should be fine.

Nice looking setup. What kind of display do you have in mind. Win10 has trouble with larger displays, like 50" TV's or UHD 4K laptop displays. So, fully compatible may be kinda relative.

I just upgraded 4 custom assembled PC's and only had trouble with one and it was the first I had assembled. It was the older display card.

Well, when i look at the price, its overwhelming for me, so i lowered some specs, here it is :

    CPU : Intel Core i7-4790K

Motherboard : Asus Maximus VII Formula? Forgot the name.

Display is QHD 25" monitor by acer.

All things not mentioned means i don't change it. Oh yeah, my friend use 4790K too, but he removed the HD Graphics 4600 (i guess). Is that possible? I just want to use the Nvidia.

Good question! I would think that you would not remove it but just disable it using the Device Manager. It would be a good idea to create a restore point first. Does anybody know what the consequences of this would be?

But, if the HD graphics is disabled, will it revert to Basic Display adapter or go onto the nvidia?
