Could you guys help me out with building a PC that is compatible to my

    old pc backup?

See: Windows 10 pc crashes when waking up from sleep mode

    Budget: 1200 to 1500 usd
Windows key is retail so I can transfer it to the new pc build.
Will retain my hard drives, fans and PC corsair case predecessor of the Corsair 760T. So I'm looking to buy a new CPU, power, GPU, Motherboard and anything else that is required.

Very important the new pc build needs to meet all the hardware requirements for Windows 11 like secure boot etc

So basically that pc is a lost cause after having worked for me for many years since 2010. I now wish to restore an image I made just before I could no longer boot the windows.

I already own a high end gaming laptop - GT75 Titan 8RF. so I do not want to build a high end gaming pc.

I'm looking to build something that is better then the specs I had but not high end as my gaming laptop. Mid range I guess would be the word I'm looking for.

Any input is much appreciated! I'm from Belgium so I can't buy parts overseas like US. I would prefer to buy locally that ship to my home.

CPU is only 65W, so I'll leave the choice of cooler up to you...

    PC Builder - Intel Core i7-12700, GeForce RTX 3050 8GB - PCPartPicker

These are prices from Belgium e-tailers...

If you are coming from a 2nd gen, an i7 12th gen might be overkill for your needs.

perhaps take a look at hardware unboxed reviews on youtube and work out what level of cpu performance you want.

Because you already have your gaming laptop, integrated graphics on an i5 12th gen might be the ticket.

    Only you can decide.

    My build list:

PC Builder - Intel Core i7-12700K, GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, Corsair Graphite Series 760T ATX Full Tower - PCPartPicker

Hello guys, I was finally able to review this and assemble a build list. I was hoping you guys could take a look and let me know what you think? Main goal is be Windows 11 ready and is able to run my operating system by restoring my Macrium Image of my old windows 10 PC: Windows 10 pc crashes when waking up from sleep mode

Specs also found in my profile. Also very important are the dimensions. My case as mentioned before isn't the one listed in that build list but an older version of that generation. I couldn't exactly find the modal online.

Note: The Cooler Master Hyper 212 RGB Black Edition 57.3 CFM CPU Cooler may require a separately available mounting adapter to fit the Asus ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 ATX LGA1700 Motherboard.
Do I have to buy something extra in order to mount it or what is it trying to tell me lol? Your experience in this would be greatly appreciated.

    Some other questions
Does the motherboard I choose have a CMOS battery CR2032?

Does it offer a way to reset the bios through something on the motherboard?

That cooler is not sufficient for that CPU. The CPU you picked is 125W
Adding that K to the CPU, made the TDP go from 65W to 125W
I assume you have a reason for that silly hard drives selection??

Try this instead... PC Builder - Intel Core i7-12700K, GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, Corsair Graphite Series 760T ATX Full Tower - PCPartPicker
Personally, I would get a Western Digital Black 4TB HDD. But it's a bit more expensive.
    Or... 2x 2TB Black's.

    Yes it has a CR2032 battery. I don't know of a motherboard that doesn't.
Yes it has a clear CMOS button on the rear of the motherboard.

You can make as many partitions on the hard drive as you want, with this... Best Free Partition Manager for Windows | MiniTool Partition Wizard Free

    Your motherboard manual... https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/m..._UM_V6_WEB.pdf

The cooler I picked has approx. 30 more cfm (cubic feet per minute), than the Hyper 212.
And you can buy a color fan for the Noctua cooler.

Maybe this... Corsair ML140 Pro 97 CFM 140 mm Fan (CO-9050047-WW) - PCPartPicker

I picked this fan for a reason. Besides 97cfm it also has great static pressure... 0.2 - 3.0 mm-H2O

Thank you for getting back to me so swiftly. I didn't know this because when I go the CPU and scroll down till you get "see list of compatible CPU coolers" it is shown in that list. Could you link me one on that site that is compatible and in addition can work with a cpu fan like this one? be quiet! Silent Wings 3 73.33 CFM 120 mm Fan (BL068) - PCPartPicker

The reason for that hard drive selection is simple they are my existing ones. I try to retain what I can.

I also forgot to include in the build list my fans that I had bought already sometime ago: PC Builder - Intel Core i7-12700K, GeForce RTX 3050 8GB, Corsair Graphite Series 760T ATX Full Tower - PCPartPicker

Ahhh... I understand about the hard drives. I would at least get the SSD I linked. It's a world of difference (speed wise), from a hard drive.

That beQuiet fan is NOT a CPU cooler fan. It's not PWM (variable speed).
For many reasons it's no-wheres near as good as the Corsair one I linked.
I can get you an all black fan if you want.

    Black... Corsair ML140 Pro 97 CFM 140 mm Fan (CO-9050045-WW) - PCPartPicker

    Red... Corsair ML140 Pro 97 CFM 140 mm Fan (CO-9050047-WW) - PCPartPicker

Here's the specs for the two Corsair fans I linked. The things I marked in RED are necessary for a CPU cooler fan.

Could you guys help me out with building a PC that is compatible to my-image1.png

You can also just use the fan that comes with the Noctua cooler. It's a great fan... some people just don't like the color.

Ahh I had no idea. I'm pretty much a newbie in hardware stuff. I've updated the list with removing that cpu fan and adding yours but I'm still missing a fitting CPU cooler. Can you help me with that as well? :) Will keep the tip in mind for the SSD.

Ok... I removed the Corsair fan and added the Noctua cooler... it's fan is great... just a weird color.

IF you can't stand the color of the Noctua fan... then get one of those two Corsair fans I linked above.
    Keep the Noctua cooler though.
Not just ANY Corsair fans but exactly the ones I linked.

I only linked those Corsair fans in case you wanted to replace the FAN on the Noctua cooler.
Like I said... some people really hate the color of the Noctua FAN. They all LOVE the cooler itself.

Personally, I don't care what color things are... just so long as the work.
See... my computer is ugly as can be... but it "works" great.
