I found this shielded sata cable made by molex, a reliable computer parts manufacture. But i not willing to pay so much for
a sata cable.

Normal SATA cabled are limited to 1-meter do the interference. In post #10 I mentioned eSATA cables. Being shielded they can be up to 2-meters in length.
The following is supposed to be an 6-foot internal SATA cable. It is shielded to overcome the normal 1-meter length limit. BTW, can anyone think of a reason anyone would need such a long internal SATA cable?

A few months ago I needed an ethernet cable, I didn't have time to find a good ethernet cable and some time before I had discovered the startech.com brand on the web. I bought a cat6 ethernet cable from this brand, I have the internet speed of my isp subscription, everything is fine. This brand seems to highlight the quality of the cables to their standard and certification, at least in the description (with image) of the ethernet cable it was the case. In terms of sata cables, this brand has flat, round, right or left angle cables, with or without locking. The warranty appears to be lifetime.
I paid for the 3 meter ethernet cable around €5 from their store on Amazon.
Internal sata cables are no longer than 1 meter and are unshielded except the pairs are shielded. The internal 6-foot sata cable from the nippon labs brand does not seem to be up to standart, the 6 foot cable to avoided.Last edited by itsme1; 28 Aug 2022 at 10:55.

Quality may not make much or any difference when cables are new but when thy get older it can make much more. Quality of insulation and contacts for instance as well as number of strands of wire. I had to junk quite a few because they were cracked. or oxidized contacts. Some even when new were too stiff and could not be properly routed thru case. or pull on the terminals too much. Quality ones also have metal terminals with metal hooks and if needed 90 degree at least one end..

I have placed an order on one of this sata cable, the price is reasonable and they are gold plated and have built in
anti interference material.
