To run serious heavyweight RAM intensive simulations that ten years ago required sending out to some guys with a huge mainframe which took two weeks to run. The intention is to run sections of them instead of all at once.

I had been unable to determine if buffered or non-buffered and which voltage.

Nor have I been able to determine if any dual density RAM existed that could double the 64 GB capacity.
Your max is 64 GB. You would need 2x 32GB SO DIMMS at 2666 Mhz. Examples are:
    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 64GB DDR4 2666 Laptop Memory - Newegg.com

    A-Tech 64GB (2x32GB) DDR4 2666MHz SODIMM PC4-21300 2Rx8 Non-ECC Unbuffered CL19 1.2V Dual Rank 260-Pin SO-DIMM Laptop Notebook Computer RAM Memory Upgrade Kit - Newegg.com

    Team Elite 64GB (2 x 32GB) 260-Pin DDR4 SO-DIMM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Laptop Memory Model TED464G2666C19DC-S01 - Newegg.com

You can use a program such as CPU-Z to detect the current RAM stick(s) installed, and then match their specs:

You can go to https://www.crucial.com they check your system and recommend what you can do

I actually tried that and downloaded the exe, ran it and find nothing.

I also cannot find a match to this notebook on crucial's site.

Several years of low dose arsenic dimmed my bulb quite a bit.

excellent sir, the RipJaws is one I had added to my cart with points back deal.

here are peeks at the most patents expired project I am spinning off and prepping to run simulations while the MSI rests atop ice.

well, dang, it will not allow me to attach images

camless internal combustion/or pump using helical valves controlled by servos

I was trying to upload images of the direct injected solenoid actuated slide valve variants
