Is the Intel Core i7 5930K Processor worth it?

I'm thinking of investing in the i7 5930K but I'm not sure if it's worth it and if it is why and if it's it worth what's a good price for a brand new 1?

Is there some reason you want an old 6 core CPU, with low clocks, high wattage, that won't run Windows 11?

IF you can even find one it's gonna be way over priced. Probably cost the same as this one...

I don't care for windows 11. How much do you think the cpu should cost?

I would sell the Motherboard, CPU and RAM you have and grab something... newer.
I can make cheaper modern builds.
I'd just hate to see you get stuck with hardware that won't be able to be sold, when the time comes.

IF you were planning to put the 5930K in your current motherboard... it's not compatible.
PCpartpicker doesn't show ANY 5930K for sale at ANY price. And they list all the major retailers.

Lowest price I can find (new)...

Because none of my computers would run Win11 and I needed to learn about it I got a new Notebook back in Oct. and new Desktop couple weeks ago. Both are 10th Gen Core i5, less than $1500 for both. I have built my own Desktops for several years but got a new OEM for less than getting the parts for building. The chip shortages and prices of video cards played a part in my decision, I'm not a gamer.
