Aorus Master X570S 3rd PCI E slot not registering.

Well, I got the Aorus Master and everything works just fine except the 3rd PCI-E slot doesn't register?
Any ideas?
There's 4 NVME's, 1 sata ssd, one GPU, and an ASUS AC-88 wifi card.

At first the sata drive wasn't registering so then I moved it into I think sata slot 4 and it now registers.

The wifi card didn't register in PCI-E slot 3, so I moved it up to 2 and it now works.

Problem is I have a 5th NVME with a PCI-E X16 adapter so I can then merge the 2tb game drive with the 2tb nvme that's going into slot 3, if I get it to work....

Remove the Drive in the M2C_SB location and install a Quad NVMe M.2 PCIe x16 Adapter in slot 3 instead.

I had a feeling that was the issue....

Yeah, i hate it when things like that come up. It's always hard to see exactly what the motherboard can support without going through the manual with a fine tooth comb. i think many assume that if it has the ports/slots that they must all work, but as you have found it, you cannot use it all at the same time.

I ordered a dual slot pcie x16 nvme m-key card, from China, so I'm crossing my fingers I can get this computer built the way I like it. I have striped 2 Nvme drives to hold all my movies and tv shows and now all I need to finish the puzzle is 1 more striped pair of drives for my games.

For items like movies and TV shows, is there a reason that you are storing them on NVMe drives? Seems like really expensive storage for storage huge amounts of data. I'd probably do something like a NAS device with some large capacity HDD's in an array which will give you good performance. I

Other than fans, I don't want a single moving part. The case doesn't have a whole lot of space for wiring so not needing SATA cables or power wires back there along with the drives themselves is a huge space saver.

I mean I have 6 2tb ssd hybrid drives I was able to clear out. Pretty sure one of them was failing anywho so I could build an NAS device. I think I'd rather sell them cheap and get rid of'em.

I removed the faulty drive and everything is back to normal. Aside from losing 2tb of storage, it's all good.
