    ROG System not booting

Hi, hope this isn't too off topic. I have a (inherited) Asus ROG system, win10 and water cooled. I don't know much about it or what maintenance may be needed.
About a week ago it crashed and wouldn't boot. The lights in the water cooling parts flashed on and off and a noticeable tick could be heard each time the lights went on/off.
I thought it may be overheating as was very hot that day. I vacuumed out all the dust from it and left it for a few hours. Next switch on all was ok and had remained so until today. It's much cooler now so heat may not have been an issue.
Does anyone know what might cause this behavior? Is it more likely to be the water cooling, or something else?
I'm hoping someone may have had the same thing happen, and found what was causing it.

    Hi,
Sounds like power delivery issue most likely power supply so which does it have exactly ?

You could reinsert all power cables in both the mother board and power supply
Shipping may have loosened them up.

I agree, my vote is for a power supply issue.

It has stayed in the same place for many months and used via remote desktop. Now it's played up twice in just the last month, and leaving off for a while sees it boot up okay. This repeated attempt to switch on - with an audible 'tick' and cooling lights going on and off I thought may have been a clue. Would PSU go intermittent like that? I agree it's worth swapping out to see, so I'll do it.

    Hi,
Post delays like this can also be memory needs to be removed and reinserted which is an easy task to try.
