7000 series is not exciting me as much as I hoped. My 5600X has been perfect except for recent needs for more cores. I think I will be buying a 3900X/X570 from a friend to hold me over for another year. I just want X570 for the gen4 M.2 and another M.2 slot. I have a Asus B450 Prime currently.

You would be better served to sell the 3900x and get a 5900x for $360.00 AMD Ryzen 9 5900X Vermeer 3.7GHz 12-Core AM4 Boxed Processor - Heatsink Not Included - Micro Center
I agree, 5900X would be better

I'm staying with my 9900K system, it does everything I need, and 8 cores 16 threads are enough for my use.
