You might ask them to just undo that one screw, leaving the rest in, which you know you can undo yourself. They might do it for nowt. You never know there might be other recalcitrant screws in hiding.

Yeah might have to check into that more, i know the other 9 screws came out fine with my little tool that came with external enclosure, got to the 10th screw, and darn thing wouldn't budge, maybe stripped it, no idea lol

I had a chance to use it some and kind of "test drive" it with the SSD. Its way faster than before. There's a few things that are noticeable slow like Windows updates...upgrading to the current w10 version took forever! But believe it or not I can actually open Photoshop and work on a photo. It may be slightly slower than my desktop but its workable.

I discovered that my track pad didn't work. Well I had a feeling that the little ribbon cable may have come out so I decided to open it up again and check. I forgot that all screws top and bottom have to come out to pop the palm rest plate off. After taking off the top screws I started prying at the edges and wondering why its not coming up. Eventually I figured it out before doing major damage to it. A few tabs are broken off and the edges are a little rough from slipping a pry tool between the palm rest & bottom cover All the plastic used to be in pristine condition And just as I thought, both ends of the ribbon cable that goes from the palm rest to the main board were off so I put them back and it works normally.

Well I may decide to just get a new cheap 500gb SSD because there's only about 60gb free on this one after clearing out junk. Might go for a new battery too, as mine goes down pretty quick.

Trade-off for manual labour. As long as you didn't break anything major or you end up bricking the whole thing. :)
