U2720Q vs UP2720Q, difference?
The Dell Ultrasharp UP2720Q is almost $1000 more than the U2720Q. What premium features justify this price difference? Thanks

Hi,
They both have sensibly same performance same speed / resolution / Contrast ratio etc, but the UP has a MUCH higher Number of colours that a display can "accurately reproduce". Oh, and it has more HDMI input.
Thanks MaloK, would you say those features justify the price difference?
Yes and no.
The major difference is in the quality of the LCD Cells. And the quality of the components that use them.
These monitor pass 100% sRGB and Adobe specs and, If you have the chance to see them side by side, you will immediately understand what it means. These are for Pro Photo / Video Editor, web designers, architects, CAD, 3d modelling.
Viewsonic has very competitive Monitors for the same kind of uses, with a more reasonable price. imo.
In practical terms, if you have the U and the UP side by side, both showing the same picture or video, is there a noticeable difference in image quality to the eye?
