Extra Serial ATA mounts in Thermaltake V200 TG RGB Case
Would it Be a Good or Bad idea to eventually move my 1TB Game SSD to the Extra Serial ATA mount on rear of Motherboard tray, would've when i installed it, but couldn't find a working sata power plug, as way shop did the wiring when built this system in June 2020 is big mess back there
Reason being i might wanna eventually test this Seagate 8TB SMR Drive i have for backups, it's awfully slow at times in this enclosure, so was thinking maybe eventually make room for it inside, and then test it, if it passes, maybe then do a complete format of it, i imagine wouldn't take over 48-72 hours like it does externally, even to test it externally takes at least 19 hours with Seagate tools
Advice welcome on what is best to do in this matter, or if theres other Serial ata mounts in this case i don't know about, i could temporairly mount this 1TB Game SSD, as i have to move system to work table to work on it, then get it back under desk to hook up to monitor, keyboard and mouse and such
