Upgrade memory capacity or speed ?

Is it better to upgrade memory size to 32gb or speed to 3600mhz ? Which make obvious difference benefit most in gaming ?

Your specs show 3600 MHZ 32GB, but you said increase speed also so assuming lower is in question. So speed for gaming I would say as 32GB is more for heavier task such as video processing.

Sorry, i make it clear. Now i have 4x8gb 3600mhz ram but can only run at 3000mhz. I'm thinking of selling 2x8gb of my ram
to be able to run at 3600mhz with 16gb size. Which option will be best for gaming use ? Thanks.

Two sticks of 3600 Ram for 16GB RAM would be better for gaming . 32 GB two sticks at 3600 speed would be better but more expensive(but you have already, try 2), so cost consideration try two of the sticks. 4 sticks are always harder to run depending on board topology.

So yes, remove 2 and try, see which 2 work better and either sell the others or save as backup

The answer depends on your usage. If you rarely pagefile at 16 GB RAM, faster memory will have a slight benefit. In reality, the benefit is marginal as disk access time are much slower.

If you page a lot even at 16GB, then upgrading to 32GB even if slower memory will definitely improve performance.

You need to evaluate how much RAM you are actually using from disk management before deciding what to do. Adding extra 16 GB if you do not need it is pointless.

There really isn't going to be a noticeable difference in gaming on anything above 16GB of RAM. I think many people like to put in extra ram because it's relatively inexpensive and they feel that the more the merrier. For gaming, it's just a waste of money. I have 64GB of RAM myself, but I'm a systems engineer for a living and I run quite large testing environments in Hyper-V, docker and kubernetes on my machine....those are the apps that I need the RAM for. It has 0 to do with gaming.

As far as speed goes, the bump from 3000Mhz to 3600Mhz is theoretically better for gaming. But honestly, I don't think you are hardly going to be able to prove or quantify that anything is faster. A gaming benchmark will likely show an improvement, but when it boils down to what you see with your eyes, and the experience of the gameplay, I'd be hard pressed to believe you will be able to prove it's better.

The amount of time that it takes RAM to receive a request from the processor and then read or write data. Generally, the faster the RAM, the faster the processing speed.

RAM is a form of temporary computer storage that allows stored data to be received and read almost instantaneously.
When you fire up a program, it becomes temporarily stored in your computer's memory (or RAM) for easy access, as opposed to being written on the permanent hard drive.
If your CPU (Central Processing Unit) had to utilize your hard drive to perform every function and execute each program, your computer would move at a snail's pace.

The size and speed of RAM module you can connect to your computer depends on memory controller RAM limit.

    Hi,
Which exact kit do you have not all are created equally
For example this kit is the bomb so if not exactly the same tested latency timings 16-16-16-36 you may want to sell all four sticks and buy this on instead.

Did you enable the 3600 MHz XMP Profile in the Bios ?

You need to find out why you can`t run 32GB of memory at 3600 MHz
