    New AMD AM5 CPU Socket


    There are press reports of AMD moving to new AM5 socket with support for dual-channel DDR5 memory. Does anyone have a firm lead on when the first AM5 motherboards and CPUs will be available and the performance advantage compared to the AM4 based motherboards?

    Exactly late 2022 or first quarter 2023 there will be progress made but i wouldn't know by how much
    with AMD's current drive i would estimate another 15 to 20% uptick but with Big Little Alderlake it may be much more to curve them back have to wait and see for results AMD is currently the king but now Intel is the Budget king for now if you shop correctly that is......
