UPDATE: Had to make a change in my build. The old HP p7-1510 computer case wouldn't work with the new motherboard. Due to that problem, had to buy a new PC case. Bought a 2021Musetex Micro-ATX #MK7-GN5, and it doesn't have a internal DVD-CD drive to install the Windows 10- Home disc. So, ended up getting a External USB 3.0 portable CD DVD+/RW Drive and Rewriter Burner to use the Microsoft Windows 10-Home DVD disc. This unit is designed to use the DVD by a USB plugged in the motherboard to install the OS.
From all I have read, I start the computer and pressing the "delete" key to get into BIOS and change the setting to Boot CD-DVD disc first. Is that correct?
I shut down the computer and restart the Pc normal, and install Windows 10 from the external device.

Your motherboard will also have an F-key, that brings up the boot menu as well.
On that, you can also choose which device you want to boot from.

On the ASUS Bazooka B350M, it should be the F8 key. Just hit that key a few times when you boot.
Just like if you were hitting the DEL key to enter the BIOS.

You'll see a message on the screen like... "entering the boot menu"

This is what the "boot menu" looks like. You can see my drives and optical drive... and, if I had a USB stick plugged into, you'd see that also.

Another option is just make a bootable USB stick with the Windows 10 installation media.
Just use the "Tool" here, to do that...

    For the ASUS Bazooka B350M

To temporarily change the boot drive
    1. Press the F11 key during boot
    2. Select the flash drive (or DVD)

People should no longer be using a DVD to install Windows 10 unless they really have to.
The problem is that Windows 10 64-bit is too larger for regular DVD disc.
However, if you really want to you are going to have a buy a dual-layer DVD disc which is large enough.

I'm not spending another $110.00 for for a genuine Microsoft Windows 10- 64 bit OS on a USB drive. I paid Amazon for the DVD Windows 10 Home disc, and it is on just one disc...not more. This new motherboard has the new USB type ports...3.1 Gen and 2.0/1.1 connectors. I would guess the external DVD-CD unit with a USB connector is one of the two types required.
So, with that setup, I'm using a DVD unit with USB connector to install Windows 10 the same way....USB. Only the OS is on a DVD disc...not a USB drive.
I don't see where Microsoft sells the Windows 10 OS on USD drive, only on DVD disc. From what I can find, software retailers are the ones selling the Win-10 on USB's.

I gave up on optical disks in my last system, mainly because I chose a case for my last desktop that did not have any slots suitable for CD/DVD/ or even Blu-ray disk units. I simply bought a USB3 Blu-ray Writer so I can make my own disks if someone needs one - I download my Windows installers and use a suitable USB-C Pen drive for install

I also convert any CD/DVD that is shipped with hardware to a .ISO - it's harder to lose or to scratch - and windows 10+ natively mounts .ISO

I can also boot the system/installer on a Pendrive direct from the BIOS

You don't have to buy Windows on USB drive. Just download ISO from MS and make your own USB boot drive. Installation key from DVD box is all you need.

But it should work from your DVD. Don't select boot from CD/DVD, since you have one on external USB. Sorry, but not sure how it shows under boot devices

It is possible to use 2 regular dvds. Very easy with win7 to span media. Bit more fiddly with win10, but not that difficult.

It show I have both, and the Microsoft Win-10 Home 64 bit DVD is the full version of the OS on the one disc. Although, I would bet it doesn't have the latest updates.
