$99.99 is quite a good price. Can often get the mx500 1tb in the UK for about £70.
I just got a samsung 870 evo 1tb for £85, which is better disk.
The performance differences favour the samsung on the test bench, but I doubt anybody would notice in practice.
Endurance 600tbw/5yrs might sway you to the samsung.
edit:I have just this moment seen a 3rd party offering samsung 870 evo 1tb at £78 including delivery.
Not surprised there is price pressure on sata ssd because nvme such as wd sn550 1tb can be found for £75 or thereabouts
edit again: just seen mx500 1tb available for £64.99
I am thinking of changing boost duration that seems more helpful
Intel Core i9 10850K @ 4798.85 MHz - CPU-Z VALIDATOR (x86.fr)
I'm looking but hey guess what this is on me the power settings i forgot to enable performance idiot mode on me
Now we're getting somewhere and yes i am thinking higher ram like 3800mhz oc it to 4000mhz
Looking much better no need to lock it down as the results are peaking with the proper adjustments can't believe i forgot about the power settings that's the #1 rule in OC'ing
