I'm finding it very tough to get my 10900K to 5.2, too much voltage and too much heat to run CB R23.

@ThrashZone must have a spectacular chip SP.
Running @5.2 has always been easy for me, even on my new 10900K. I use 1.430 volts setting in bios Matt.

When your in the BIOS change your LLC level and wait for the prediction to change... It will change a few seconds after. The higher LLC levels require less max voltage but come at the cost of transient spikes. Maybe read up on LLC and transients...

And ThrashZone ie: Mike has a very nice Water cooling setup ....which makes his chip run really much cooler than yours or mine.

Is that with manual Vcore? In the BIOS V/F curve you will see voltages for the various frequencies. This is the CPU internal VID, the voltages that are programmed into the chip by Intel... For 5.2 my VID is 1.498V. The only way to override the internal VID from my understanding is to use manual Vcore, offset mode or use offsets on the V/F curve. I would like to get 5.2 stable around 1.35V but I having a hard time.

I can you tell you my chip will reach 90C+ in R23 with 1.430V Mike, even with custom cooling. How are you managing the temps?

And the CPU isn't melting in Cinebench?

I am using the manual Vcore setting ....my temps rarely go over 90° @5.2
I don't use R23 to judge my settings thou..... I use my benching apps to do that. Like Firestrike or Night Raid ...ETC.
