He lost me when ,I seen him using a MSI Board.
That alone destroyed his credibility those boards are terrible ever since my 990fx blew up while gaming i will not be investing any quality money into their products they used to be good back in the day with Twin Frozr Gpu's.

I'm just not familiar with MSI BIOS's, very different to Asus. Since a few people use them perhaps I should familiarize myself.

Hi all, since I can't remember in the Asus 500 Series BIOS please verify that if I choose Exit Menu > Load Optimized Defaults, that it will have no effect on any of my saved profiles.

As far as I know, only a new bios update will remove any saved profiles. You should be safe.

    Thank you! Mike

Have any clues about this setting? Advanced>CPU Configuration>CPU-Power Management Control
Options: Auto, Max Battery, Max Non-Turbo Performance, Turbo Performance

Can't find any references to it.

Mike is correct, that just loads default, usually F5 will too. Profiles will still be there

That sound more like settings for a laptop. I would use auto or turbo
