When I get rid of Corsair I also could use my Apex MB ...as it can control my fans too

I have 2 fan controllers both made by Corsair
I have a corsair commander but I only use it for additional temperature probes because it is supported by HWINFO64. I tried the icue stuff and it is \ crap and it is not compatible with HWINFO64. Makes the Asus software look good. I have always used AISuite fancontrol to control my fans on Asus boards and never had an issue - very reliable and I find the ability to change profiles in Windows very useful. Asus Armory Crate/Aura Color LED management software is crap though, like every other motherboard vendor's solution, but getting better at a sad pace.

So it may be popular to talk spit about Asus software, but you maybe missing out on some good utility.

I use the Commander Pro with CUE 4 and love it. CUE is not without a few rough edges but I stick with it because I'm invested in Corsair products. An alternative Mike (or anyone) can look at is EK's own controller the loop connect.

Is that any good? I considered it but EK was even apologizing for how bad their software was at one point. Plus I wondered if it was compatible with and the hardware supported by HWINFO64.

Asus does the job but I am also looking for a good alternative software controller.

I don't know I don't have it. It's probably as good as any other controller and has some EK specific features. I think you get flow rate from EK D5 pumps. Generally you don't want HWiNFO reading your controllers sensors. What issues are you having with HWiNFO?

Since installing this MB if a go to bench certain apps like say Fire Strike for example, I get Hardware errors every time.
I've never had any errors like this on any Apex board before. So this is new to me. Ive been trying different things trying to stop this error but have had no luck yet. If anyone can give me some ideas please do so. I only get these errors overclocking.
Most of the time Windows does not bsod, the program ie: Fire Strike will just crash.
I've run memory tests and they passed.
I am out of ideas folks ...
Its always same error msg: LiveKernelEvent Code:141

Are you logging WHEA errors in HWinfo Mike? Run your Firestrike with Hwinfo running and the see if hwinfo records any hardware errors.
