TPM 2.0 with AMD fTPM bios setting enabled on Asus x570 mobo

With MS getting in a funk and making TPM 2.0 a mandatory system requirement I ran the Windows 11 system checker MS released. It said my main system with an Asus ROG Strix x570-E Gaming (bios 3603) wasn't compliant because there was no TPM 2.0.

    btw I'm running Windows 10 21H1 - 19043.1081.

So I dived into the bios set AMD fTPM Configuration to Enabled and now the PC is TPM 2.0 compliant.
Does anyone have experience with the mobo Q code 9E (listed as being for future use) which now displays? I know it shows after running the AMD Ryzen Master app.

Has anyone had any issues when this Q code 9E displays? I'm going to leave the fTpm setting in the bios enabled to see what happens. There are no error messages in the Event Viewer nor system crashes etc. so far.

Here is a screen capture from the TPM module in Windows:

Earlier today, Paul Thurrott and Mary Jo Foley have BOTH said that the compatability program to check if your PC is Windows 11 ready is NOT working correctly.

    Hi @Paul Black<

Thanks for that. Why am I not surprised at what Paul Thurrott and Mary Jo Foley are reporting? This Windows 11 thing comes across as being all a bit rushed and disorganized.....

4 hours since I enabled TPM in the bios and so far no error messages in the Event Viewer and no system crashes in Windows 10.
I'll have to check the Asus ROG forums to see how much chat there is about TPM 2.0\Windows 11 and this 9E q codes.

Our good friend MoKiChU has posted some information here on the ROG forums:

I was looking around the web for something on q code 9E...future use and shows with TPM enabled. Its not an error code. MoKiChU is a wealth of information for sure

I haven't enabled it, but will if need be to upgrade OS.

@Marcus Vinicus you can go in BIOS and change the qcode to display cpu temp after post. I just found it in the BIOS, dont know if it works on my other rig, will try later

Verified it works, should have took the panel off to kill the glare

I suggest you put on your sunnies when you're using your PC in future!

I'm also running a Asus ROG Strix x570-E Gaming. I turned on my TPM setting to firmware in the bios today. I'm on Bios 3602.
I hadn't even looked at my code, as I cannot see my case from where I sit, but upon boot up, my code is also 9E now. It uses to be AA.

If I run Ryzen Master, my code changes to F8.

And when I come out of sleep it's 30.

I used my computer all afternoon with no ill effects. I've since turned the TPM back to discrete as I have no need for it to be on at this point.

    Thanks for comments everyone.
I tested my PC with TPM 2.0 enabled for 8 hours with no issues. I have however changed the fTPM setting back to discrete in the bios in the meantime.
