What is your CPU Idle temp?

I've been thinking about this for sometime and was wondering if anyone comes close to my Idle temp. My Idle temp is at 2 Celsius, 35.6 Fahrenheit. It would be interesting to see the temp at system Idle on your system?? I also ran a stress test on my CPU and I maxed at 41 Celsius, 105.8 Fahrenheit. AIDA64 stress test It says at post #16 20c but it was cooling down from the test at the time of screenshot so my bad. My screenshot as of now. Sitting at 2c Idle temp.

Here's a look an my cooling system. Just took this now. Note! I have both front and back panels off and am running at 2c Idle.

    Hate to ruin your day...

Here's my lowest FX-8350 temps (via AIDA OSD)

And here's some FX 8350 big boy (Prime 95) temps... top temps are idle, and bottom are load.

I used to have some Speccy, negative CPU temps for this CPU, but I no longer have the screen shot.
Well, I probably still have the screenshot, but it's on a HDD that's no longer in use.

As you can see on the bottom temps on the 2nd pic... Speccy shows the CPU core temps, on the AMD FX series.
All these temps are with the case buttoned up, BUT, I keep my computer room... cold.
I aim for 60F in the room, when I can get it, or even lower in the winter time.

    Here's another Prime 95 run...

And here's a screenshot of Prime 95 vs. AIDA64, on the FX 8350 (overclocked)

    BUT...

The FX 8350 is 125W and the FX 9590 is 220W.

However... you do have a much better cooler than I do.

    @Lance1
So.... you still owe yourself a pat on the back for getting a 220W CPU, that cold... on air.

GHOT your temps are at normal and your post is extremely detailed and thank you for that. I don't think I've ever used Prime 95??? I may have it on an old drive somewhere I'll have to look. I do have AIDA64. O! My cooler was given to me be a friend. FREE!!! My original cooled is on my TV PC and it runs around 18c - 64.4f.

What is your ambient temperature allowing you to keep your CPU at 2???. It's summer here, so my room where my computer is at sits at about 75F, or 24C. My CPU (Ryzen 9 5900x) idles around 35-38C using a Dark Rock Pro 4 air cooler. it's well within specs and i have no desire or need to try to lower my CPU temp.

Well it never really gets hot in my house. Average temps outside at this time of year are 30 to 33c. My system is downstairs were it stays reasonably cool around if I had to guess 10 to 13c at this time of year. I would guess that's a contributing factor.

So, it's 90F degrees outside, and your computer is in a location where it's 50-55F. That's some incredible air conditioning. My basement is around 68F, my main floor is about 74F with temps around 85-90F outside.

My refrigerator keeps food at 37 degrees. I'm baffled as to how your tower air cooler is able to keep your PC at the same temperature that my refrigerator runs at.

Did you mean to say 2C (35F) or 20C (68F)? I am having a hard time believing you meant 2C.

In the AMD FX CPU days... (Bulldozer and Piledriver)... Speccy showed core temps, rather than package temps.
    For example...

Here is a screenshot showing the relationship between package temp and core temp on the FX 8350...
(from post #2, 2nd pic, idle temps)

    Ambient "room" temp was 62F

And to get low "room" temps... you just set things up like this...

I ran some other tests on different apps to see if it was just a glitch. "Core Temp" "Speccsy" and "Speed Fan" ALL Recorded 2c. Say what you like. I'm running Idle at 2c. Or maybe it's my TM30 Thermal paste...

Is there anyone on this forum that runs at 2c Idle?? Am I the only one? My tests prove that I am..
