Or something weird with BIOS or Windows??

I too thought... luck. But it's been stable (even through stress tests) for over a year now. ??

Two fans that are on M.2 header are the one on bottom of case and one on the back of case on a splitter like my other working fans on chassis. Do not think it's affecting temps by much but wish it worked like others..

No. There's just a lot of folks on there that KNOW how to tweak the BIOS.

You'll even find folks with same motherboard and CPU, that have already solved these problems.

But... if you WANT to overclock... that's the place to go.

So wouldn't be easier to try it myself or return and try different RAM sticks ?

    Not interested at overclocking

Technically... setting the RAM at manufacturer's specs (these days), is considered overclocking.
Back in the day it was considered a.... right guaranteed by the Constitution.

I don't think the RAM sticks are the problem.
I have, over the years, learned that Corsair RAM is the easiest RAM to set to manufacturer's specs.
Generally, that's because they run looser timings.

Well dam in the BIOS switching to XMP is considered overclocking, default is 2133mhz
