I have 7 probes available (1 MB t_sensor, 2 MB intended for open loop water in and out temperature, and 4 from Corsair commander). I use all 7 but I OC and I am nuts. I have two on two of the three front intake fans that I average as a measure of the ambient temperature in. One ( t_sensor) wedged in the middle of my RAM for memory fan control, one at radiator intake and two on radiator exhaust. I also have one for the air intake into the GPU.

You can also move it around as needed to find hot spots.
So cable they gave me is right one for t_sensor on the board ? Having trouble uploading photos of certain pictures or I would show it to you.

    Board only has one connector.

Alright play around with it one day and see. RGB LED light strips i had for NZXT RGB & Fan controller work on this boards connectors, great no need for controller or to buy light strips. Just have to setup Asus Armory Crate software and Aura Creator not yet installed.

One other question the RAM i bought is unable to go into XMP mode I or II system does not boot goes into BIOS post screen.
Only works on Auto setting which runs at 2133 MHz. RAM G.Skill # F4-4000C18Q-32GVK.
Was cheap, but used G.skill on last board there usually fine might be Intel chip issue not board issue

Well it is not listed on the Asus QVL for your board *search for 4000 speed g.skill). But that doesn't mean it won't work. They can't test every RAM set.

But your MB is listed on the g,skill QVL for the RAM:

    F4-4000C18Q-32GVK-G.SKILL International Enterprise Co., Ltd.

First thing you could try is upping the RAM voltage from 1.35 to 1.36 or 1.37. Otherwise a screenshot of the RAM timings section when you set XMP might help.

Yeah i know. It was not listed as QVL on motherboard site at first i thought i would have a RAM height issue and all the other RAM listed on Asus site under QVL for G..Skill was Trident Series they are taller, even some Corsair were too. But way offset of cooler is, just clears RAM slots so height might of not made a difference. G.Skill i bought are 42mm High, Tridents ranged from 45mm-upwards.

Looked at pictures I could upload this may rise near fan blades, doubt have an effect.

Yeah not sure about raising voltage most in QVL say 135v, have to check when i try to set it to XMP if i can see voltage change.

Actually first installed Asus suite 3 and later had errors on boot from Dipawaymode something about missing fan file, reinstalling could not fix.

My older board never had issue with G.Skill RAM setting to XMP. Similar series Ripjaw 4 instead.

Too many issues can return for these which are listed in QVL even tho Tridents and a lower speed. 2mm higher 44mm.

Couldn't find where XMP profile was in Advanced mode in BIOS, but it showed same voltage when changed in EZ mode 1.35v.
Guess forgot how to capture screen in BIOS not same as in Windows didn't work, but what i can see in EZ.

My Anti Virus wanted me to enable Hardware Virtualization for protection reason, so i did so in BIOS not sure why it is disabled by default when it is supported, not to familiar with it.

Not sure how accurate AIDA64 is looks on idle looks good, but M.2 gets kinda hot
