Neither does the NZXT as far as I can tell. The light strips are $20 each

Looked into M.2 fan i believe doesn't run the same and VRM (Voltage Regulator Module) fan is for a small fan they give you for heatsink around near CPU. Read through manual few times.
They have the same amperage and power rating as the chassis fan headers, so it doesn't make a difference if it is big or small fan.

ALready have the lights if read past posts what i was using it for to begin with, since i have it i figured can use it for a fan controller which it also is too, but saying not a good idea to have fans and rgb on same thing. Am i correct or getting confused ?

Amperage i know, but believe do not operate same way as chassis fan does, especially VRM. Some say that does not kick on untill gets higher temps or voltage something like that read about it.

Do not think NZXT RGB strips will work on ASUS RGB board headers. May be wrong do have 4 pin header.

One thing fan controllers use board temps to control fans speeds or only your input does ?

I don't know enough about RGB strips to be honest.

But a cheap fan controller like the one I linked, then maybe one of these, is still cheaper than that NZXT.

If they are Q-fan controlled PWM headers, as the manual says, you should be able to set it "kick in" at whatever temp you like. That's the whole idea. Only catch might be the temperature source, say for the VRM header, may be limited to the VRM temperature. That hasn't been my experience with Asus boards (ROG at least). I can set any of the header's temperature source to be CPU, GPU, VRM, Chipset, Motherboard, etc. Even the AIO pump and water pump.
