    The power supply rating is a theoretical maximum output power for the power supply. The computer you use with it will probably use a lot less power than that.
    Ya, but i also have a monitor, speakers and printer all to the wall socket.

    And in the US the wall outlet is 15 amp/110v , or 20 amp/110v. Most are 15amp.
    I know, i brought a asus monitor from us and it came with a fuseless us plug, i think it's 10a 110v.

    Right, I have circuits for both. When I started setting up my computers some 25 years ago I ran a separate/additional 20Amp circuit for them, partly because I had a LaserJet printer and common rule-of-thumb is not to use them on a power bar.
    I also use a separate 20a circuit to my wall socket.

    Your system isn't going to draw anything near 1000W and way less than 10A. Where did you get that? Being generous it will pull 400W tops, assuming a slight overclock. Otherwise 300-350W. Your power math doesn't add up either.
    I try not to hit 13a 1300w (assumed) for my wall socket. I'm not good at math. I take reference from various electrical items example trail socket with max input of 10a 1000w @230v and water heater 30a 3300w 240v and more.

    If the OP has an Intel Core i9 or a AMD Ryzen 9 CPU paired with an Nvidia RTX 3090 GPU they might need a 850 or 1000 watt power supply.
    I think a 1000w psu will be better for I9 or R9 cpu with rtx3090, which i can't afford financially and to provide power to it.

    Many peoples think that your 13A 250V wall socket can output about 3000w of power which is wrong. Look at the specifications of my PSU at the link, it stated 100-240v, 10-5A for a 550w PSU (i lazy to open up my pc). You can find this specifications on a sticker of your equipments. Are your pc a ticking time bomb ? After checking, my total power requirement of my whole pc just below 1000w 10A @230v.

    Power = Voltage x Current
    Current = Power / Voltage

    Therefore for a 550W PSU operating under maximum specified load at 250V, the current drawn is 2.2 amps.

    In the UK each plug is fused by law. I would use a 5A fuse for a 550W PC. Each ring main will be further protected by a circuit breaker usually about 15 amps.

    In the United States regular outlets are 120V. Electric ranges, electric clothe dryers, and some air conditioners require a 240V outlet.

    Only outlets near water have GFCI protection (circuit breaker). Since my house is old none of my outlets have this protection.

    A normal 120V circuit where I might plug in a TV, lamp, or computer has a 20A circuit breaker.

    A typical power strip is rated at 125V @ 15 Amps. The ones I have have a 15A resettable circuit breaker.

    I have two gaming desktops plus a printer hooked up to one circuit. Note the circuit has four outlets.

    Desktop 1: Corsair RM750i (750 watts)
    Desktop 2: Antec TruePower (new) TP-650 (650 watts)

    Each computer draws less than half of the power supplies rated wattage.

    Using rough calculations the power used by each computer for 120V:
    Idle = 80 watts = ~0.7 Amps
    Full load = 250 watts = 2.1 Amps

    If you add two monitors and a printer that might add about 60 watts (0.5A).

    That means even together at full load the two computers draw less than 5 Amps.

    A OC 3090 could possibly hit 400W, and OC i9 300-350W. That is 750W total both running full load and OC. You would be good with an 850W PSU. The manufacturers of 3090 GPU cards (Asus, Gigabyte, etc), recommend PSU power of 750 or 850W, depending on the card - you do not need 1000W.

    Sorry just read this.

    P/V=A

    (1000/230=4.4A)

    (1000/110=9A).

    You say 230v @ 3000W is wrong but were are you getting these facts from since we use a 13amp fuse in the UK for extension leads?

    V*I=P

    (230*13=2,990W)

    Sure these power supplies will handle this but I think it is better to be a little conservative and opt for a bigger power supply. It is probably ideal to at full load to draw 70-80% of the power supplies max rating. The power supply will not only run cooler but will probably be more efficient.

    The fan in my 750 watt power supply is normally not running. It only comes on when the load is above a certain amount.

    My PS is rated at 290w. With an Nvidia GTX 1650 graphics card, and an i3 cpu it pulls about 150w out of the wall at max load. The computer is plugged into this little Belkin power meter, it shows about 26-29w at idle, and 5w when sleeping.
