My motherboard chipset temp is 72 c idle !!

every 5 minutes I hear high fan speed so I checked GPU fan which I installed from two days (6800 xt) and found the fan is 0% in idle so I checked chassis , pch, AIO I found their fan speed normal too but I found my chipset temp is 72C !! is it because of the long new GPU ?

and how I find wish fan run too high every 5 minutes ?

I found the high speed fan from eye observation: it was the new gigabyte 3 6800 xt fans run every 5 minutes at very high speed then stop at 0 the hwinfo apparently does not catch this behavior any one know why this is happening ? and how to stop this behavior ? it is like the fans run at 100% for few seconds

Chassis fan, pump and radiator fan are driven by MB controller and you can probably set how they work on BIOS fan settings.
The GPU fan has it own controller on the GPU board.

Apparently the fan remains at slow speed till the GPU temperature reaches a temperature that triggers the fan to run at high speed till the temperature drops (see the graphic you posted).
    To change how they work:
    Under Radeon app > Performance > tuning > fan tuning > advanced control > fine tuning controls:Fan speed: 15, 28, 41, 65, 100
    Temp: 30, 50, 65, 80, 85
Basically if the gpu temp is high, run the fans high.

The 72ºC chipset temperature is very high, IF it is real. Sometimes the program reads a temperature that is not calibrated.
Open the side case and put your finger on the chipset heat sink. If it is at 72ºC you will almost burn your finger. Is it at that high temperature?

which one the heat sink ? the one behind ports panel or to the top of case ? I touched both they are warm not very hot. is there another tool to measure the temp ?

The chipset heat sink is a big heat sink , normally square near the SATA ports.
I have glued a heatsink with fins over mine.
I suggest you use open hardware monitor
Extract to C:\Program Files (x86)\HardwareMonitor and run openhardwaremonitor.exe.
Under options you can set to run on Windows start. You can configure what to show on the tray and on the gadget. Very good.

the GPU is long it cover the chipset heat sink so I can not touch this is also why I think the fan does not get enough air from the above gpu.

Here is last openhardware screenshot I dont know which temp is for which

Open HWInfo and compare the temps.
You can rename any temp or fan on open hardware monitor (you can see on mine that I renamed fan #1 to CPU fan).
