My cpu Temps are really high (overclock or thermal paste issue)?

I have a asus fx505dt-wb52 laptop that I bought brand new on October 9th of last year and I ran hwmonitor and it said my Temps were 150 f and speccy said the same.

What do you guys think the problem is? Thermal paste issue or maybe the asus software overclocked it some how?

I do have a laptop fan that the laptop sits on.My cpu Temps are really high (overclock or thermal paste issue)?-420c3935c3824eb8a2aaf4ebeb2fd54b.png

    As per Google, (150°F − 32) × 5/9 = 65.556°C
It does not seem to be a high CPU temperature.

Set Speccy to read in Celsius. Your laptop is only 65C, which is fine.

You can get some cans of compressed air and blow the dust out. It doesn't take very long for a laptop to gather dust.

    There is no problem.

That processor has a default 35w TDP, programmable down to 12w.

In a Laptop with not so great cooling those sort of temperatures are normal.

The max CPU frequency is in line with the CPU specs so is not overclocked.

You guys are right thank you everyone. I was like I can't get my bios to actually update and I used the file for when your inside the bios and the file from when you're inside windows and it acts like it's updating and even completes but cpuz reads the same bios before the updat so I won't know if that'll fix it but I know my bios is old lol thanks again guys
