I've already seen that page, I need to find the downloadable instructions for the setup.

And unfortunately your motherboard does NOT support aRGB/RGB headers so those cables you're holding in your hand can not be connected to the board

You can connect the fans, but as you noted you won't get the RGB function of the fans. Thus your fan kit needs to include an aRGB/RGB fan node. That's why I was looking for the instructions to see if it had one as it is still possible to run the fan's RGB lighting from the node.
I gave the link to the fan kit which I hope directed you to the right location. I couldn't find any instructions that have the download able instructions but here is a picture of the ones that came into my box Rgb fans work but rgb itself doesn't work on msi b85-g43 gaming mobo-screenshot_20210424-220043_gallery.jpg

It looks like this is what I'd need but I'd need more then 1 led port

Something like that. And I can't believe that hub doesn't provide a connection to run those lights. Unless that was to be purchased as a separate unit. That said, are you sure you don't have a cable adapter to connect the fan's RGB cables to the hub?

BTW, Corsair provides a light node with some of their fan kits such as this one...

The Commander Pro in not needed unless you're funning a few fans and LED light strips. The two fan kit on the left come with everything you need and doesn't rely on the motherboard. In fact, though Gigabyte does support aRGB lighting, it doesn't support Corsair's lighting system. But that's a different story for another time.

I'm sure your kit is better quality then mine. But I'd rather not buy a whole new setup if I can help it. I'm surprised I can't find a USB header to rgb cable or something. It seems like you can find just about anything else.

You're missing the point and taking it personal. I am in no way telling you to buy Corsair, nor are the the ONLY ones who supply a whole kit. My point is you need a whole kit.

    Good luck.

Hopefully that solves the problem. BTW, this would have worked too - RGEEK RGB/PWM Hub.

But yeah, might as well stay with the same company.

    Good luck

I decided to return the fans and get different ones.

I got Cooler Master Masterfan MF120 Halo Duo Ring and the razer chroma controller which I am aware the Cooler Master Masterfan MF120 Halo Duo-Ring already comes with the controller that takes the place of the rgb header but the razer chroma seems to give you more play then the cooler Master controller.

Thank you everyone for your help I really appreciate it.

I bought the Cooler Master MasterFan Pro 140 Air Flow RGB kit (3 fans) with controller, but I didn't like the way the fans sounded. It's a me thing as I'm super sensitive to fan noise in my case being I also use my PC as my audiophile system.

That said, it's not a bad kit and the fans are nicely made so I'm sure you'll enjoy them.

    Good luck.

Are you sure there`s no cable coming from the controller that goes to a USB port on the motherboard ?

That`s how my Thermaltake fans work.

Looking at "what in the box" I didn't see a USB cable to MB, but there is a power SATA cable to power the hub. There's still the issue of connecting the aRGB cables. That was the issue

That said, both my Corsair and Cooler Master RGB fans with hub use a USB cable to power it instead of a SATA power connector.
