You should get a WD Black not a WD Red.
WD Black = 7200 RPM, CMR
WD Red = 5400 RPM, SMR
The WD Red drive is designed for RAID/NAS configurations and it's not recommended to be used as a general purpose or gaming drive. That goes for all SMR drives. SMR drives also work OK for streaming or backup where performance is not as important.
Just for Comparison:
This is the WD Red Pro NAS Drive:
This is the WD Black Performance Desktop Drive
[All has set to 4TB Type, no DevTools, and it is on Incognito Mode]
For performance, WD Black is your choice.
For Price, WD Red Pro is your choice.
Overall: tie (obviously)

If I will buy a hard drive, I will go to the WD Black or if I can, an SSD.
Choose Storage - PCPartPicker
PCPartpicker is NOT an online retailer. It is a site that searches a specific country for the lowest available prices for any computer component. It's been around for about 8-10 years now.
When you click on a product name, it shows you all the sellers and their pricing, along with a BUY button, that takes you right to the seller's website.
It's been a godsend when considering computer parts... anywhere in the world.
