Is there a true PCI 4.0 motherboard for Intel's Gen 11 cpu's?

LOL. Got those quite some time ago, and not really that many of them. Maybe a dozen or so.

Great in the winter because they heat the house. Not so great in the summer here in Texas when it gets over 100 degrees on a regular basis

Yeah, I'd imagine they can turn into a toaster rather quick

BTW, aware of the Texas heat as I was stationed at Dyess AFB in Abilene TX for 7.5 years from 85 to 92. Was never so happy to see both in my rear view mirror. Was a miserable time for me there.

Yeah, seems I keep moving further south (at least since I'm in the US). NJ to NC to TX.

I miss winter. Have not seen a really decent snowfall since about 1989. NC had snow, but nothing really impressive, at least not while I was there.

Appreciate that. Did 26 years in the Air Force. Great time, lots of travel.

Anyway, originally from Brooklyn, New York, but left in 1979 when I joined the Air Force. Retired in Virginia in 05 where I am today. Still visit New York since I have family there, but have no desire to move back there. I'm suburbanized now

I've been in places like Houston - I don't think it's the heat but the dreadful humidity and cockroaches the size of alligators !!! -- Not as bad as NYC or Washington DC though.

However back to OP -- I think whatever hardware you have there's bound to be "Updates, Upgrades, etc" ad Nauseam - maybe Pcie v 5 on the horizon or how about a 128 bit version of Windows -- I'm sure that can't be too far away on the horizon. The 64 Bit CPU must be getting maxed out when run with loads of threads / cores --- once you get over a certain limit effciency drops off rapidly since there's an increasing amount of overheads to manage all the concurrent processes running on the various cores and threads. The OS gets rediculously involved in attempting to manage it all sensibly.
