Recommendation on a new AMD Motherboard please

I currently have an ASUS ROG Strix X470-F Gaming mobo, and it's great, except that every once in a while it just falls asleep on me and I can't wake it, requiring a hard reboot. It's happened at a few critical times and is happening more often, so I think it's time to replace the mobo.

I'm thinking of getting an X570, and I have been looking around, but there are a lot of choices. What I am looking for is a good solid build. I'm not averse to getting another ASUS as I have had really good luck with them until now.

A couple of things I need are:

1. Dual PCIe 3.0/4.0 slots capable of at least x8 (I run two video cards in crossfire)
2. Two M2 drive connectors.

My budget is about $500 CDN.

I'm hoping that someone here has a suggestion for me, as I can't seem to find one.

I have 3 of the Asus X570 boards.

Asus Tuf Gaming X-570 Plus in my son's box
Asus Rog Strix X-570 E Gaming in my box (was the most expensive, not sure I would spend the extra again)
Asus Tuf Gaming X-570 Pro in my wife's box. (probably my favorite of the 3)

They have all been great boards.

I've done a recent review of X570 boards for a new PC build in a few months time. My selection criteria are:

Quiet chipset fan
3 year warranty
Front panel USB header
Dual BIOS preferred
On board LED diagnostic preferred
WiFi
Good sound e.g. ALC1220
Good power control
Intel Ethernet preferred
Price under £250
Low poor ratings on Amazon (1* + 2*)

My current shortlist based on the above is:

GigaByte X570 Aorus Ultra
Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus (WI-FI)

I have never used a Gigabyte board before. What is their reliability rating like in your experience?

Gigabyte is quite high in my experience.

Signifying nothing..........all you can get is somebody else's experience, which will only be anecdotal and not good evidence of anything.

Quality control is not a strong point for any brand, just commodity stuff churning off the end of an assembly line in a highly competitive industry with thin profit margins.

Just look for the features you need and cross your fingers.

Pay attention to the vendor....what type of customer service hell you might land in if you have to return the board........both within 30 days and within the entire warranty period.

Both ASUS and Gigabyte are excellent boards. Currently, Gigabyte has the best manuals.
For serious overclocking, you would probably want to go with Gigabyte. Gigabyte has uber power circuits.

All x570 chipsets are PCIe 4.0

I'm typing this on 10 years old Gigabyte and AMD processor. Reliability is really high, even with mid-level boards. Just don't count on many years of BIOS updates

Best power circuits? Think you messed this up with MSI. Their high level boards are known for best power circuits.

I almost exclusively use Asus or Gigabyte. Both have performed very reliably for me.

My last 5 boards were all Gigabyte boards (never used Asus boards). No issues with any of them. My only "wish" it they had a nice looking BIOS layout like the Asus boards. But that's an "beauty" criticism not a performance issue

My current rig (i9-9900K) is using the Z390 Aorus Xtreme board. My backup system (i7-7700K) is running the Z270X-Gaming 8 board. The X58A was my first Gigabyte board bought in 2010.

And reliability is extremely good. I've another system running an i7-4770K on my Gigabyte G1 Sniper 5 board bought in 2013. Still runs without issues.
