as well unless there is one already in there.

Are you sure it is worth the cost of buying this extra stuff?

The Sabrent enclosure plus the connector board and cable ( inc. postage), plus the caddy comes to about $58

@SIW2, so is that a yes that it can hold 2? I am a little confused. I just don't want to put it in and it make things go wonky. I have 8 GB of RAM in it now, and was advised by my cousin in law not to go any higher than 8. But according to HP, it says it can support 16 GB.

Edit: It currently has a 500GB M.2 SATA SSD in it already that I put in it because the standard drive was 256 GB.
My HP ProBook came with 8GB RAM. I used CPU-Z to find the memory part number and was able to buy another 8GB module of exactly the same type for c. Ł30. There are no issues doing this upgrade but be wary of installing a non-matching memory module. My HP laptop also had a spare SATA bay. I installed another SSD which is mainly used for scheduled Reflect backups.

I may change my mind on doing it. The computer isn't slow for what I use it for. I don't use it for power hungry apps like what I use my desktop for. I use this Laptop for emailing, typing information, paying bills, and things that just doesn't require a lot of memory or space for photo editing. My desktop is used for that kind of stuff.
