Just trying to clarify the Youtube obstacle course. Can a new machine with 477 GB SSD and 32 GB Optane Memory, have the Optane memory removed and replaced with an NVMe SSD for a data disk? Just want to know if it is a thing or myth.

Wow. When I bought the computer on recommendation from someone who knows what I described I wanted and wanted to spend, we didn't know what Optane memory was. When I got the machine I ran into the utility to use it. Coming from an AMD Phenom II X4 965 with 8 GB ddr2 1200mhz, it is hard to tell how much benefit I got from turning it on. Everything is just so fast already, comparatively. So there goes another item to my ToDo List, also warranty!!! Need to get the network working. Couldnt get windows file share, drive mapping to work correctly. True Nas sounds good.
