I, in error, posted about the issues Asus was having with some Z690 boards.

Brink had already posted. (then my next error, I should have deleted post entirely or left a link)

Jaystwocents covered this and it appears to be a capacitor being put on Backwards was the culprit.
This is a first but probably not the last tell those people at ASUS to stop partying during the weekly shifts
